Caribbean Princess Cruise Lines ‘Veterans Get Together’ Events

Princess Veterans Get Together Events

Customarily, Princess Cruise Lines hosts a Veterans Get Together a few times a year. The event starts off with a moment of silence, the national anthem, and pledge allegiance to the flag. Then, each veteran has a chance to tell what branch they served in, when they served, and share some of their experiences. These events are then followed by a tribute ceremony, honoring all the men and women of the Armed Forces that gave the ultimate sacrifice, with a moment of silence, and ends with a “final” toast to them.

The latest Veterans Get Together gathering was attended, and led, by South Lake SubVets member, Bobby Mock, and was held 09 Feb 2025 onboard the CORAL PRINCESS. Bobby has also led previous Veterans Get Together events aboard Princess Cruise Lines, one in January 2025 aboard the CARIBBEAN PRINCESS and another in November 2024 aboard the GRAND PRINCESS. The next event is scheduled for 25 March 2025.

When asked why he does these Veterans Get Together gatherings and if Princess Cruise Lines pays him, he responded with, “It is a way for me to reach out to honor and thank my fellow veterans for serving our country. I love listening to the veterans talk about their experience and adventures while serving.”
