RIP: Walter R. “Bob” Stout

It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of one of our founding members and a Holland Club member, Bob Stout who began his eternal patrol on 10 August 2025. Known to all as a joyous and fun loving individual, he passed away doing one of the things he loved, running. Our shipmate was about 2/3rds of the way through a 5K race on Saturday when he collapsed. First responders were on scene immediately but they were unable to revive him.

Bob, you stand relieved, rest your oar. Rest in Peace. You stood your watch well. Fair winds, travel well, we have the watch. “Fair Winds and Following Seas”

RIP Brave Soul. Thank you for your service to our country. A true hero has entered into heaven.
