With the local community of about 200 volunteers at the Reedy Creek Fire Station on Walt Disney World property, several members of the South Lake Submarine Veterans Base participated in a “Build-a-Bed” event. Together, the group put together 85 beds organized by the Orlando Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) foundation working to fill their nearly 300 requests in their system.
